This is my favourite K Webster and possibly overall book! It was so good, there were so many things that I loved about it!! The relationships and strong bonds between the protagonists are adorable, swoon-worthy, comedic, and make the book so much better. I don't even know where to start, I could go all day talking about this INCREDIBLE book!
The male lead, Cal, is dominant/alpha yet gentle, swoon-worthy, strong, ruthless, selfish but sometimes selfless and playful. Charlotte, the female lead, is strong, brave, determined, vulnerable, loyal, and kind. Together, their chemistry and relationship are electric, captivating and powerful. They are protective of each other and will do anything for the other. The same goes for the Hoodlums. The Hoodlums are so loyal, playful, and will do anything for each other or for the people they care about, no questions asked. There's also the adorable, hilarious, and iconic Penny. Penny is such an adorable, protective sister but is also a hilarious, teasing friend --- especially with Terrence (the cabin scene KILLED ME).
This book is romantic, comedic, tragic, steamy, captivating, suspenseful, addictive and an emotional roller coaster but such a good one! This book was SO SO SOOO GOOD!!! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it! Five incredible, fantastic stars!!
